WORCESTER, Mass., June 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Hanover Insurance
Group, Inc. (NYSE: THG), a leading super regional property and casualty
insurance company, today announced that David H. Bradford, CPCU, has been
named regional vice president for sales and distribution for the company's
Southeast Region. Bradford will work out of The Hanover's Charlotte, North
Carolina office, reporting directly to Douglas McDonough, regional president.
The Hanover's Southeast region includes the states of Florida, Georgia,
Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

Bradford joins The Hanover from The Hartford, where he was, most recently,
Houston, Texas branch manager. Under Bradford's leadership, Houston was one of
The Hartford's top performing field offices in the country.
Prior to that, Bradford served as The Hartford's sales director for
national client practices, where he responsible for driving relationship
management and national sales planning with some of the company's key
distributors.
Bradford holds a CPCU designation and earned a Master's degree in business
administration from E.J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State
University.
