The Hanover Names William Gross Regional Vice President, Commercial Lines in Massachusetts

WORCESTER, Mass., Dec. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. (NYSE: THG), a leading super regional property and casualty insurance company, has announced the appointment of William Gross as regional vice president for commercial lines. In this role, Gross will oversee all aspects of commercial lines business for the company's Massachusetts territory.

Gross will work out of The Hanover's Worcester, Mass. office.

Prior to joining The Hanover, Gross was with The Hartford, where he served as regional vice president for the company's New England region, including Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Previously, he worked in marketing and management positions with Core West Bank, Philadelphia, and with Transamerica Corporation, in that company's Orlando branch office.
