In this role, Stacy will lead the company's local market teams in their efforts to grow personal and commercial business with select, leading independent agents in the Northeast. He replaces Dick Lavey, who has been named senior vice president field operations and marketing for The Hanover.

Stacy joins The Hanover from The Travelers, where he served as vice president of national distribution with a focus on the small commercial and enterprise businesses. Prior to that, he served as vice president of distribution and field for small commercial, and as president for the company's Southwest Region. Previously, Stacy served in key field operations and marketing positions at several regional insurance companies in the Northeast, Midwest and Southeast.
